The A-taro Matsuo 松尾 栄太郎 個展

The A-taro Matsuo Solo Exhibition

July 11, Fri - July 29, Tue 2025

"Nanayama" in the Karatsu mountains of Saga Prefecture is the location where A-taro relocated his studio from Kyoto, where he had lived for 28 years. He lives in harmony with nature, interacts with residents, and weaves the subtleties of daily life with his family.

The source of A-taro's creativity is rooted in his daily life and the pure sensitivity of his inner boy. His fantasies, realities, and mental landscapes are visualized with the two-dimensional (prints) and three-dimensional (sculptures) techniques he has cultivated. A-taro's themes are "life and death" and the 'contradictions' he faces in life, but his representative work, "HAZAMA," is filled with a sense of nostalgia and refreshing artistry.

Please feel the atmosphere woven by the thoughtful works in our gallery space.
