Pottery clay, Oya Stone
Kouzo Takeuchi is a contemporary ceramic artist who has gained domestic and international attention for his masterful handiwork and delicate sensibility. The texture, form, and appearance of his weathered materials float between ancient and modern times, creating a worldview that evokes the passage of time.
Oya stone is placed on top of his ceramic clay works. The geometric shapes harmonize with the natural stones to create a sense of beauty and dignity.
