Invisible scents are clothed in “color.”
This exhibition is an installation presenting the colors and scents of plants as 21 swatches.
By isolating the unique color and scent inherent to each plant and arranging them consecutively, it opens up a new sensory experience: “smelling color and seeing scent.”
The colors and scents woven by Mother Nature are the folded memories of the earth.
At the moment these two intersect, the space quietly transforms like a woven fabric.
We invite you to enjoy this fleeting moment where the boundaries between color and scent dissolve.

For the past decade, Tokyo Kodo has explored fragrance expression focused specifically on incense = fire.
Recently, we began perfumery with liquid = water, and moving forward, we aim to deepen further the expression of fragrance through both “fire” and “water.”
While we have previously advocated layering scents through 〈Spatial Perfuming〉, as this season marks the close of the year, we have created these new works as a fresh challenge, exploring “fire” and “water.”
The fragrances are named Seren＋Dipity (Serendipity). There are two reimagined versions of the original “Serendipity” scent created for STYLE MEETS PEOPLE, reworked for 2025. The scents drift through the center of the gallery space, displayed as a mobile installation within the spatial fragrance concept.
