■ A Design Touch Event
Studio Poetic Curiosity - Poetic Design
An interactive exhibition of design that stimulates poetic curiosity
Oct 10 - Oct 22
11:00-20:00, Last Day-18:00
Studio Poetic Curiosity will hold a special exhibition on poetic curiosity.
The design studio Studio Poetic Curiosity was formed in 2020 by Yusuke Aonuma and Kensei Miyoshi and is based in Tokyo.
They pursue design and manufacturing that gives form to the poetic imagination. Their designs span various genres, valuing the discoveries from trial and error in research, production, and experimentation.
At their solo exhibition, "Poetic Prototyping" (Poetic Prototyping), which has been held annually since 2021, they have presented independent projects based on "poetic curiosity."
With the name of their design studio directly adopted as the theme of this exhibition, you will be able to view their representative works such as "Wind Whisperer," a device to carry words on the wind, and "Fabric Records," a project to listen to the voice of fabric, as well as new works presented at this exhibition, all in one place from their formation to the present.
By actually placing themselves in a real space, touching and feeling the materials, visitors can experience the background of the design, the process of making, and the story behind the design through all five senses. This unique exhibition questions the sharing of time and space, the relationship and sensitivity between people and artwork, and between the creator and the viewer.
