SMP GALLERY presents a special exhibition of contemporary art and crafts to savor the autumn season.
Titled “BLACK W” this show explores the theme of black through the contrasting mediums of ceramics and washi paper. Maki Ishiwata (Washi Fiber Artist) presents soft, organic washi paper twisted and knotted, while Kouzo Takeuchi (Ceramic Artist) showcases the structural beauty of hard ceramic clay forms. Enjoy the black world enveloped in light and shadow created by these two artists.
