I believed that by eliminating the effects of light and shadow and stripping away superfluous elements, the subject would transcend its contours and meanings, appearing simply as something that is there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHanji, traditional Korean handmade paper, supports this expression.\u0026nbsp;Hanji has a history of over a thousand years, and its strong mulberry fibers give it high durability and long-term preservation qualities. While preparing for the shoot, I searched for an object to match these flowers and chose the Joseon white porcelain jar, 'Moon Jar.' I felt it was a flower suited to the moonlight, and I believed the images of plum blossoms and the moon jar would quietly resonate with each other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI carefully photographed the flowers to prevent them from wilting, while also observing their wilting process.\u003cbr\u003eI believe that all things embody the meaning of time and life. As I watched the flowers gradually wilt in the studio, I felt a sense of life even there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTherefore, in this work, I chose a scene in which the most beautiful moment and the moment just before wilting coexist. Perhaps the most beautiful time in life is such a moment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this work, the moon jar plays a quiet supporting role, enhancing the plum blossoms.
